Protection of the
Ecological Environment

While pushing forward with the development of its various businesses, Jereh is also committed to protecting the natural environment and natural resources, and to ensuring sustainable development for future generations. Jereh has been disseminating basic knowledge of energy and environmental protection to the younger generation through innovative brand popularization activities, fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities with practical action.

We invited 22 pupils from a local elementary school in Yantai for a plant tour, and showed Jereh's latest decarbonising technologies.

Education is the cornerstone of cultivating innovative talents as well as an important foundation for the rapid and sustainable development of the industry. Jereh actively promotes the training and development of industrial talents, and works towards enhancing society's knowledge of oil & gas, new energy, environmental protection and other industries.

Energy Equipment Innovation Design Competition

The "Jereh Cup" China Postgraduate Energy Equipment Innovation Design Competition, founded in 2014, is specifically for postgraduate students and is one of the 11 themed competitions of the "China Postgraduate Innovation Practice Series". Jereh has sponsored the competition for 8 consecutive years, attracting a total of 170 universities and 1,261 works on themes of marine energy equipment, green and efficient oil & gas equipment, wind energy equipment, and solar energy equipment, etc.

Entrepreneurship Competition

The HKUST Entrepreneurship Competition originated in 2011 and the famous DJI drones and Yunzhou unmanned ships were its first competition projects. Jereh has exclusively sponsored the 2022 "HKUST - Jereh Group Entrepreneurship Competition". Focusing on artificial intelligence, the competition has attracted and selected high-quality artificial intelligence entrepreneurial projects from around the world! Through the cooperation, Jereh has comprehensively expanded in-depth exchanges and resource sharing with HKUST in various fields, such as production, education and research.

While pursuing high-quality development, Jereh remains committed to its original intention of giving back to society. Actively engaged in social welfare undertakings, the Company demonstrates its sense of social responsibility by participating in various social activities including public assistance, education initiatives, and rural revitalization efforts. In January 2023, through the Yantai Red Cross Society, Jereh donated a total of 1.7 million yuan in funds or materials to Yuhuangding Hospital, Qishan Hospital, Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Yantai Mountain Hospital in Yantai City. This donation was intended to express gratitude and support to the medical staff working tirelessly on the front-line of healthcare, offering them a gesture of warmth and appreciation.

Jereh Huachuang's electrostatic spray disinfection equipment was also widely used on the front lines of the battle against the pandemic, in the designated quarantine hospitals of Yantai.

On December 18, 2023, a magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck Jishishan County Gansu Province. Jereh New Energy promptly mobilized resources overnight and prepared emergency relief supplies worth 300,000 yuan, including cotton tents, blankets, folding beds, cotton clothing, halal food, drinking water, and more. These supplies were swiftly dispatched to the disaster-stricken area to aid the affected people.

Social Relief

We actively participates in social welfare undertakings, and has initiated the establishment of Jereh Charity Fund of Yantai Charity Federation and Boji Relief Fund in Laishan, which is mainly used for the relief of individuals and families in distress, the incentive of righteous and courageous, the targeted relief for the elderly, children, students, disabled people and patients, etc., and social welfare projects such as natural disasters. Since 2010, Jereh has donated a total amount of more than $3 million, helped nearly 500 families and implemented more than 400 welfare projects.
