Operation & Maintenance
Flowline products are used for transporting high pressure fluids. Besides flow pressure, they are subject to erosion and shock of high speed flow as well as collision between pipes and surrounding objects due to pressure and equipment vibration. Therefore, please pay attention to the following instructions to extend the service life.
Operation
• Operators should take rigorous training and acquire relevant qualifications.
• Operators should be familiar with the tools to operate and maintain flowline products.
• Careful inspection is required before each use. Replace the parts in case of seal leak, broken bolt or rotation difficulty.
• Each Jereh manifold is identified by specific stainless iron strip. Users are recommended to protect it to ensure lifecylce traceability.
• Never weld or heat flowline products or components.
Maintenance
•Regular maintenance can significantly extend service life.
• Lubricate the plug valves and swivel joints before and after each use.
• After each use, thoroughly clean and maintain all surfaces exposed to fluids and seal faces.
• Each component should be regularly inspected and maintained. See details in Operation & Maintenance Manual.
Inspection, Repair and Test
• Flowline products must be regularly inspected and maintained depending on use frequency and service conditions. See details in Operation & Maintenance Manual.
• Never use parts or components not manufactured by Jereh.
• Never repair or rebuild Jereh products in a manner not recommended by Jereh.
Storage
• Keep products and repair kits away from sun, rain, sand and other foreign matters.
• Before putting into storage, make sure the fluid residue is thoroughly drained, and the interior is clean and dry.
• Try to spray rust preventive oil through the flow passage. Put protective covers on union threads and unions after coating them with rust preventive oil.
